Outreach Ministries

• Online Ministry
  Through the grace and power of the Holy Spirit, the Online Ministry seeks to use technology and the strength of digital communications to help Second Missionary Baptist Church spread the Word of God. The Online Ministry maintains the church Web Site.
• Prison Ministry
  God has commissioned that we minister to those who are imprisoned. These individuals who have been labeled by society as castaways and misfits are precious to God. It is his will for all to receive eternal life. It is the mission of this ministry to provide the spiritual leadership that enables these men and women to return to society, and their families, and to live godly and productive lives among a community of believers.
• Health and Wellness
  Through education and prevention, we strive to be a resource for cultivating a healthy body and soul. This includes serving as liaisons between the congregation and other church and community sponsored events and health related promotions; performing in-house blood pressure and blood sugar screenings on a regular basis as well as rendering primary first aide as needed. Our goal is to cultivate more health conscious individuals with an emphasis on the special needs of the African-American community.

• Marriage Enrichment Ministry
  The Marriage Enrichment Ministry exists to glorify God by building healthy marriages on the solid foundation of God’s Word.
  Classes every first and third Saturday of each month at 6:30 PM
